AP Interview: Clinton raps her Benghazi critics
By By MATTHEW LEE, Associated Press – 36 minutes ago
WASHINGTON (AP) — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is leaving office with a slap at critics of the Obama administration's handling of the September attack on a U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya. She says they don't live in an "evidenced-based world" and that their refusal to accept the administration's statements is regrettable.
In her last interview before she steps down Friday, Clinton told The Associated Press that the attack in Benghazi was the low point of her time as America's top diplomat. But, she suggested that the furor over the assault would not affect any decisions about her political future.
Congressional Republicans accused the Obama administration of intentionally misleading the public about whether the attack was a protest gone awry or a planned terror attack.
