Cops are looking for two young male suspects, one between 13 and 15 years old, and the other possibly as young as 10, in the shooting death of 13-month-old Antonio West.

Two Georgia monsters Friday shot and killed a helpless baby for nothing as he sat in his stroller.

The senseless point-blank execution came seconds after the killers — teenagers — shot and wounded the tot's terrified mother in a botched robbery.

"Do you want me to shoot your baby?" one of them said, before ending the 13-month-old boy's life, police said.

Little Antonio Santiago's mom Sherry West, although wounded, gave cops a detailed description of the teens — a 17- and 14-year-old — who were arrested Friday.

West also gave a gut-wrenching account of what allegedly happened when the older boy pointed a gun at her.

"I said, 'No, don't kill my baby!' "

But he did anyway, she said.

And West, who reportedly lost her 18-year-old son to senseless violence five years earlier, was left to bury another child — and to wonder why the teen with the gun wouldn't believe her.

"When you have a baby, you spend all your money on babies," West said she told the teen. "They're expensive. And he kept asking (for money) and I just said 'I don't have it.' "

De'Marquis Elkins, 17, and his 14-year-old alleged accomplice were nabbed after heavily-armed police in Brunswick, Ga., went door to door searching for them.

Elkins was charged as an adult with first-degree murder, said Police Chief Tobe Green.

The younger teen, who was not identified because he is a juvenile, is also charged with first-degree murder, said Green.

The tragedy in the small southern town began unfolding on Thursday, West said, when she took her son out for a stroll in Brunswick's normally quiet and leafy Old Town historic district.

Then the teenagers pounced.

"He asked me for money and I said I didn't have it," she said.

To show that he meant business, West said Elkins fired a first shot into the ground.

When she didn't see a shell casing, West said she figured the gun was a fake.

Then, in rapid succession, Elkins fired a shot that grazed her left ear and another in the left leg just above the knee, West told police.

West said it all happened so fast "I didn't know I was hurt."

Then, she said, "the boy proceeded to go around to the stroller and he shot my baby in the face."

"And then he just shoved me when I started screaming and he ran down London St." with the alleged accomplice.

West was treated for a bullet wound at a local hospital and later released.

She said her broken heart will take much longer to repair.

Antonio "was a beautiful baby," the weeping mom said.

"Quietly inquisitive, independent, loud, sometimes quiet. Loves Mickey Mouse and Disney movies."

West has been down this trail of grief before.

Her son Shaun Glassey was killed with a steak knife in March 2008 during an attack involving several other teens on a street corner in Gloucester County, N.J., according to news reports.

Glassey "and some other boys were going to ambush a kid," Bernie Weisenfeld, a spokesman for the Gloucester County prosecutor's office, told the Associated Press.

But the target was able to wrestle the weapon out of Glassey's hand and he "ended up on the wrong end of the knife," Weisenfeld said.
