The EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo says one of its members has been killed in a shooting in the tense, Serb-dominated north.
The Mission says the incident took place early Thursday during regular staff rotation. The statement says two EULEX vehicles came under fire from unknown persons.
The statement did not disclosed the name or nationality of the victim. It says an investigation is under way.
