One of the addresses police targeted during a massive drug and gang crackdown in mid-June was the former home of Mohamed Siad, the man who reportedly tried to sell an alleged video that purportedly shows Toronto mayor Rob Ford smoking crack-cocaine.
Crown prosecutors in the Project Traveller case released a list of addresses on Monday that police had sought search warrants for in the June raids in northwest Etobicoke.

One of those addresses is for an apartment at 320 Dixon Rd. The unit is the same address listed on court records for Mr. Siad. The Toronto Star has reported that Mr. Siad attempted to sell the alleged video to the newspaper.
Mr. Siad, 27, was arrested during Project Traveller, and is facing multiple charges for cocaine trafficking, weapons trafficking, unauthorized possession of a handgun, conspiracy to commit cocaine and weapons trafficking and participating in the activities of a criminal group.
Mr. Siad is alleged to be a member of the Dixon City Bloods, a street gang based in Etobicoke.
Lawyers for media organizations, including The Globe and Mail and the Star, are fighting a court battle to have documents related to Project Traveller unsealed. A judge is expected to make a decision shortly on whether those documents should be unsealed and whether they will be placed under publication ban.
The Project Traveller raids have received much attention after it was revealed that at least two of the men arrested, Mohammad Khattak and Monir Kasim, appeared in a photograph with Mr. Ford that was circulated with the alleged video.
