Calgary police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a 21-year-old man early Friday morning.
Police were called by a woman who said she had heard a crash at about 2:00 a.m.
When they arrived at the scene, at Bow Bottom Trail and 146 Ave. S.E., they found a 21-year-old man pinned under a Chrysler 300.
Investigators say the man died at the scene.
Police say the Chrysler was travelling south on Bow Botton Trail and tried to make a right turn onto 146 Ave when the driver lost control.
The vehicle hit the curb and rolled over once, ejecting the man.
Police say four other occupants in the vehicle fled the scene but were eventually located.
A 16-year-old male and 17-year-old female suffered minor injuries and another male, 17, and female, 18, were not injured.
Police are looking into whether alcohol and speed were factors in the fatal crash.
No charges have been laid and the identity of the driver has not yet been determined.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the crash to call the Traffic Section at 403-567-4000 or Crime Stoppers.
