An Ohio man arrested in the killing of a 9-year-old girl whose body was found in a trash bin is set for his first court appearance.
Twenty-four-year-old Jerrod Metsker is set to appear Monday in the Wayne County Court of Common Pleas on an aggravated murder charge in the death of Reann Murphy.
It's unclear if he has an attorney.
Metsker was arrested Sunday just 12 hours after deputies found the girl's body in a trash bin.
She had been missing since Saturday evening and was last seen playing outside.
Sheriff Travis Hutchinson declined to say how Reann was killed or discuss a motive.
He described Metsker as a neighbor and family friend.
