DUKE of Cambridge dropped clue that wife Kate could be expecting on sixth day of royal tour of New Zealand.
PRINCE William yesterday told an admirer who'd made baby George a shawl: "You might have to make another one soon."
The Duke of Cambridge dropped his hint that wife Kate could be expecting their second child during the sixth day of their royal tour of New Zealand.
His remark came as he and Kate chatted to Geordie Cynthia Read, who had made the lace shawl for their son as a gift from the Kiwi government. Cynthia
emigrated from Newcastle with her Scottish husband Ken eight years ago.
She said: "The way William said it was like he was dropping a hint, letting me in on a secret."
William and Kate were visiting Cambridge, where 10,000 people – almost half the town's population – had turned out to see them.
Eight-month-old George was with his nanny in Wellington as his parents went on separate visits – William to an aeroplane plant and Kate to a hospice.
Then they teamed up for a walkabout and the opening of the national cycling centre. The couple were presented with a bike and a cycling jersey for George.
