Police responded to a personal injury collision call at 1:06 a.m. on Feb. 18 at Dundas St. E. and Sherbourne St. A 2012 Acura TL driving southbound on Sherbourne St. allegedly struck 58-year-old Suzanne Pac just south of Dundas and then fled the scene.
Pac was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
On Friday, police arrested Tomas Velazco Pinedo, 31, from Toronto. He is charged with impaired driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous driving causing death, failing to stop cause death and attempt to obstruct justice.
