A man believed to be in his 20s remains in hospital after a shooting in the city's west end Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on Humber Boulevard near Weston Road.
Police say there was some sort of dispute in front of a TCHC building when the shooting broke out. The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the face and abdomen but is expected to recover.
Officers say that while there was only one shooter, investigators are searching for two suspects, who fled in a silver vehicle.
No suspect descriptions have been released at this time.
Archbishop Romero Catholic Secondary School and Rockcliffe Middle School were in a hold and secure position but those have since been lifted.
Anyone with information is asked to call Toronto police at 416-808-2222.
