TORONTO - A four-year-old boy was found alone outside a Toronto townhouse complex without any clothes on in frigid temperatures Friday afternoon.
The alarming incident comes a day after three-year-old Elijah Marsh died after wandering out into the cold.
The child was discovered standing by garbage bins outside a townhouse on the west side of Toronto.
The Weather Network reports it was -15 C without the wind chill at noon Friday.
"The information we have is the child did not have any clothes on," Toronto Police Const. Victor Kwong said.
"The child has been taken to hospital out of an abundance of caution," Kwong said, adding there were no obvious signs of injury.
Police have located the boy's mother.
